Meet Your Uber Frugal Month Guide

Liz of Frugalwoods

The Uber Frugal Month follows the path my husband and I took to reach financial freedom.

Hi, I’m Liz and I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed by your money. I used to feel so much shame and guilt over how inept I was at budgeting–let alone investing for retirement. In 2014 I decided to change that. I learned everything I could about personal finance, I started my blog, wrote a book published by HarperCollins in 2018 and began working with other people who also wanted to get better at money.

Getting a handle on my family’s finances enabled us to follow our dream of living in the country. In 2016 we left Boston, MA and moved to our homestead in the woods. Thanks to our judicious financial decisions & planning, my husband was able to retire at age 37 to become a homesteader and full-time dad to our two children. I left my unfulfilling job in order to work from home on something I feel passionately about – helping you with your money.

We could not have pursued this unusual path without first understanding our money and making a plan for how to save, spend and invest for the rest of our lives.

I realized that if I could learn how to manage my own money this well, I could help other people do it too. I’ve worked as a financial coach with hundreds of individuals and families to help them understand their financial pain points and create comprehensive, proactive solutions leading to stable and fulfilling financial futures.

Our financial lives aren’t separate from any other part of our lives. How we use our money is inextricably linked to our options and ultimately, dictates the type of life we’ll lead. I will help you figure out how to make your money enable you to live the life you want.

Are you ready to fix your money?
