Congratulations on your decision to retire early. Your story is very similar to mine. My wife and I also decided – last year – to retire before I’m 40 (currently, I’m 33). Saving about 75% of our dual income will help a ton in that regard, and the overall lifestyle change will, of course, enable long-term happiness.

Best of luck with your drive towards financial independence.

    • Mrs. Frugalwoods says:

Thank you so much! Congrats right back at you! It’s certainly a freeing feeling to know you’re working towards independence and a happier, less stressful future 🙂

  2. Andrew says:

I want to get married just for the duel income…

  3. Tawcan says:

    Very cool interview!

  4. Shannon says:

That was a great interview! I am very excited to follow your adventures. I’ll admit it, I tried to do some back calculations to figure your take home income.

  5. I enjoyed reading the interview! Hope to get to meet you guys at Fincon next year. 🙂

    • Mrs. Frugalwoods says:

Thank you! Likewise–hope to meet you too! I’m waiting anxiously for them to announce dates and location…

  6. Jessica says:

Darn! I was really hoping you had a secret, awesome use for dog fur! 😛

All jokes aside, I really enjoyed the interview. I love learning more about the bloggers I follow.

  7. Even Steven says:

Thanks again for doing the interview, you’re the best Frugalwoods I know!

  8. What impresses me most about you guys is your complete dedication to you goal. I have goals but still slip up or get easily swayed from time to time, but you both seem fiercely determined and it’s great you both found each other and had those same goals!

    • Mrs. Frugalwoods says:

Aww, thank you! We’ve had many different goals over the years, but this one really feels like IT. We’e definitely 100% focused on it at this point in our lives.
